Professor Qian Chunxiang is currently a professor at the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Southeast University and the director of the Institute of Green Building Materials Technology of Southeast University. The concrete-related research project led by her team has won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award. In Daye Peak, she made a deep understanding of the whole process from the source of cement production, limestone mine to cement production site and cement kiln production. She discussed in depth the research progress in 2021 with Zhang Fengliang, deputy general manager of the group company and general manager of Daye Peak, and the person in charge of Daye Peak quality, technology and equipment, and discussed in detail the demonstration and application research scheme this year.

Carbon emissions from China's cement industry account for about 14% of the whole society . As an important research content, "Capture and Utilization of CO2 at Cement Kiln Tail" has been included in the national "14th Five-Year Plan" key research and development project "Key Preparation Technology and Demonstration Application of High Performance Cementitious Materials with Low Environmental Load". Under the background of "carbon peak and carbon neutral", Daye peak fully fulfills its corporate social responsibility, promotes the green development of cement industry, actively carries out school enterprise cooperation, and cooperates with Southeast University to explore new carbon capture, storage and utilization technology, so as to promote the resource utilization of CO2 and industrial waste residue.
