The lower part of the expansion joint was also changed to a stainless steel round pipe with an inner diameter of 600mm , which was directly open and welded with the top of the silo to form a discharge pipe. After the transformation is completed, there will be no coal cut-off phenomenon when bituminous coal is used, so lignite is resumed. When lignite is used, instantaneous coal cut-off phenomenon occurs occasionally, but it will not affect the temperature in the decomposition furnace and the calcination working condition of the rotary kiln, and the feeding amount of the rotary kiln can be stabilized at more than 260 tons. The transformation achieved the desired effect.
