Daye Peak Belt Conveyor Cleaner Completed Transformation

Recently, Daye Peak Cement Company completed the transformation of the belt conveyor cleaner of the whole plant and put it into operation. After a period of use, the cleaning effect was remarkable and the purpose of technical transformation was achieved.

Daye Peak has 18 belt conveyors in total. Because the conveying materials contain viscous substances, some of them will stick to the working surface of the conveyor belt and cannot be unloaded during unloading. The adhesive materials will enter the idler of the no-load section, increasing the radial load and axial load on the bearing seat and causing the bearing to wear quickly. At the same time, some materials will be scattered on the belt corridor, causing environmental pollution and increasing the labor intensity of cleaners.

In order to completely solve this problem, Daye Peak modified the belt sweeper and replaced the original self-made skin stopper with a professional sweeper. The sweeper is installed on the head roller of the belt conveyor, and the blade is made of polyurethane, which has the advantages of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, no damage to the belt, cleaning and the like. Its special tensioning device is reasonable in design and convenient to use. It can separate the blade and the belt without stopping the machine, which is conducive to cleaning the debris on the knife edge. The sweeper is simple to install and easy to maintain.
