How to Manage Time

Recently, I saw Robbins's "Management" on the Internet, which was originally revised in 2018 , version 14 . This book is the textbook of choice for management majors in most colleges and universities in the United States, and how does this 14 edition have revisions and how does it fit in with today's trends?

The latest edition of this book adds a time management column to the beginning of the management function and puts it in the first place that readers see, perhaps emphasizing the importance of personal time. There is a general sentence in it: A key to success in management and in your career is having good time management skills . I have slightly modified the translation to read: whether you have the skills to manage time in management or even in your entire career, it largely determines the upper limit of your success. This part of the book is not long, there are only some short tips on how to use time resources, and most of them have been learned by us before. I also listed them:

1. make a list of the tasks you have to do now and will complete later, as well as routine tasks, so that you can know what you need to do every day, week and month.

2. Rank these tasks according to their importance to make sure you're spending your time on what's most important.

3. List the actions you need to take to complete these tasks.

4. Grade these actions with A/B/C , A as important and urgent, B as important or urgent, and C as routine actions.

These should be very simple methods and strategies. We only need to do a little thinking. We can all learn them. But why are the few people who can make good use of time and really use this technique to implement it?

Think about it carefully, the premise of using time management skills is to control your emotional power, and without the support of emotional power, time management can only be an art, and how much it can play depends on the performance on the spot. When you encounter troubles, setbacks, and sensitive things, when your emotions tell you that you don't want to study or work, or even bother to move your fingers, your body will naturally spend a lot of energy and attention on these negative things. Perhaps this has also become the reason why it is difficult for us to make good use of our time. But if you have the ability to control the power of your emotions, managing your own time becomes a discipline, and as long as you follow the rules it says, you can get the most out of it.

Peak Cement Successfully Enters Lancang Airport Project

News from our newspaper On September 26, the first batch of airport runway cement produced by Yunnan Jianfeng Cement Company was successfully delivered to the Lancang Airport site, which marked another important step in the expansion of Jianfeng Cement in the southwest Yunnan market. Lancang Airport is located in Donghi Town, Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, Pu'er City.
