At the beginning, there were not many pedestrians and vehicles on the road because it was not the rush hour. Occasionally, there were several pedestrians who did not take the zebra crossing and several passers-by who rode the battery car in the opposite direction. It was quite easy to persuade. When we see pedestrians crossing the zebra crossing, we will raise the warning signs in our hands, and then smile and say to the pedestrians: "The road is slippery in rainy days, please go slowly!" Watching the pedestrians cross the zebra crossing safely one by one, we were relieved. About half an hour later, with the coming of the rush hour, the number of pedestrians and vehicles on the road increased significantly, and the rain turned into heavy rain. There was a pregnant woman who thought about the zebra crossing, but there were so many passing vehicles that she stood there at a loss. My colleagues and I quickly raised the warning sign of "comity to zebra crossing, civilized crossing" and signaled to the passing car drivers. The car stopped with understanding. The pregnant woman walked through the zebra crossing and turned to us and said, "Thank you!"

The rain was getting heavier and heavier, and soon it was like pouring rain. Big drops of rain hit my glasses frame and arms, and my trouser legs got wet quickly. My vision gradually blurred. Pedestrians and vehicles on the road also moved slowly because of the heavy rain. I wanted to give up a little bit, but when I remembered the pictures of traffic police directing traffic in the wind and rain, my shaken heart became firm again.

On duty for one and a half hours, my colleagues and I stayed until the end, and our clothes and shoes were all wet. In spite of this, it is warm to recall the "thank you" that the pedestrians said to us.
