What is "learning from things"? Let's look at the literal explanation first- 1. grid: inference; To: seek. To explore the principles of things, thereby gaining knowledge. 2. Make the ability to know the style of things, and then make you know the way life is. From the Book of Rites, University: "To know is to know in the case of things, and then to know in the case of things." The "grid" here actually refers to the meaning of opening the inside of an object to have a look, so that people can see the essential core and structural format of things, experience this kind of experience, and then reach "knowledge" (the essence of knowledge, the end of knowledge) and "knowledge" (extreme knowledge, thorough knowledge), so as not to be confused by illusion, appearance and immediate interests. Further, "grid things" is to require people to experience their things and to practice their things, that is, to be poor and to increase their knowledge. Mr. Yang Jiang said: "Although Zhong Shu is not wrong, he is arrogant enough." I don't think Mr. Qian is arrogant. He abides by the conscience and authenticity of intellectuals. To learn is to learn from things.
I like ancient poems. I once heard teacher Li bo talk about Xin qiji's "Xijiang moon, night travel in the yellow sand road". the first two sentences of the poem are "the bright moon does not frighten the magpie, and the cool wind sounds cicadas in the middle of the night". Teacher Li Bo said that most people have always thought that "another branch" means leaving the branch, but the antagonism of Song Ci not only pays attention to the antagonism of content, but also pays attention to the antagonism of part of speech. The second half of the sentence "Qingfeng", "midnight" and "cicada" are all nouns. If "don't branch" is a verb, the confrontation here will not be stable. Xin Qiji, who was known as "the dragon of words", was so stable that even the places that did not require antagonism were "eight hundred li under his command, and fifty strings turned out of the plug", not to mention the first two sentences? He checked the information, "don't" can also be interpreted as "other", "don't branch" should be another branch protruding from the side. In this way, the "bright moon" is more stable to the "cool breeze", the "other branch" is to the "midnight", and the "startled magpie" is to the "cicada", both the image and the part of speech are more stable. I think Mr. Li Bo's point of view is right. For the same word, Xique also has two sentences "seven or eight stars outside, two or three rain mountain front". Most people are used to reading "seven or eight stars outside /, two or three points outside / rain mountain front", which is also influenced by the customary sentence breaking method, and should be read "seven or eight stars outside / days outside, two or three rain / mountain front". These explanations are well-founded and sound like a sobering sound. Now that I think about it, my understanding and sentence breaking at school are also inaccurate. Therefore, teachers must have the spirit of learning from things, otherwise they will easily mislead people and mislead many generations!
Learning should adhere to the attitude of ancient people to learn from things, and we should do the same in our usual study and work. Only by learning well can we have a deep understanding, and the research on work can be more in-depth.
